1 day Hue to Hoi An (OR HOI AN TO HUE) Tour - The Top gear tour
Travel over the Hai Van Pass, made famous by the guys on Top Gear. This Scenic Coast route is simply the best way to travel between Hue and Hoi An if you only have one day! Note that we can also go from Hoi An to Hue as well.
Travelling south from Hue we pass through villages and rice paddies avoiding the main highway for as long as possible. On the Way to the Pass we stop at Elephant Springs rock pools and Lang Co lagoon & beach.
Hai Van means "Sea of Clouds" and when crossing over the top of the Pass you can be literally surrounded by clouds on one side with stunning ocean views below you on the other.
We then travel through Danang to a stop at the famous China Beach with its fine white sand. The last stop before Hoi An is Marble Mountain, 5 marble outcrops that are topped with delicate pagodas.
Tour Details:
Start time: 9AM
Finish time: 4PM approximately
Price per person: $50 only
Includes: Everything - pick up and drop off at your Hue/Hoi An Hotels, private tour with English speaking Hue Riders guide, fuel, water, lunch at a local restaurant and entrance fees to included sites.
Note: It has happened that other motorbike riders have picked up our customers, saying they are with the Hue Riders. Something that almost every time ends up with a bad tour/experience for the customer, and a bad review for us. When we come to pick you up, we will be wearing a Hue Riders jacket/vest. If anyone else tries to pick you up, they are not with our company, or associated with us whatsoever. Please be careful, and make sure you are picked up by a person from Hue Riders.
Note 2: Many people are worried about their luggage. Don't be. Our motorbikes are setup to be able to carry big backpacks and/or suitcases in the back of the frame. See the photo at the top of this page how it looks.
